Let’s Grow in Faith Together!

The Reformed tradition has always placed great emphasis on education in the church community. First Presbyterian seeks to provide forms of education specific to children and adults that allow them to learn more about their faith, to discuss questions and contemporary issues, and to share perspectives in an open and welcoming atmosphere.

Our “Household Huddle” meets at 9:30 AM each Sunday in the Miller Gathering Hall. This gathering is designed for the whole Household of God at FPCNH, and everyone is invited to join us. Families of all shapes and sizes are encouraged to attend together. After Huddle, younger children may work on a craft, learn a Bible story, or read a book together based on the theme for worship that Sunday. Older students may attend our intergenerational Bible study which also reflects on worship, scripture, and other events happening that day.

It is our hope and prayer that Household Huddle will help us make the connection between what we learn on Sunday mornings and how we live throughout the week. By working together with people of all ages and stages, we all become teachers and learners at the same time, as we open our hearts and minds to God’s Spirit at work in our midst.

If you have questions or concerns about Household Huddle, please contact Rev. Rachel Paige Mastin at rachel@fpcnh.org.

Bibles for Rising 10s

Each year, our congregation gifts children who will turn 10 in the upcoming year (September-August) with their own inscribed Bible. This typically takes place during a worship service in September or October. If you will be 10 this year, please let us know so we can prepare one for you!
