Let’s Grow in Faith Together!

Starting September 10th, the “Household Huddle” will once again gather to “Breathe, Share, Reflect and give Thanks.” This gathering is designed for the whole Household of God at FPCNH, and everyone is invited to join us. Families of all shapes and sizes are encouraged to attend together. We’ll meet from 9:35 – 10:30 each week. Household Huddle will give us time to talk, to listen, to learn and to build relationships. We’ll begin our gatherings in the Owens building, and break into age-appropriate groups once we’ve had an initial time of sharing.

In sports, a huddle is an action of a team gathering together, usually in a circle, to strategize, motivate or celebrate, and that’s just what we hope to do during our Household Huddles.

Each time we gather we’ll begin by taking a deep breath. We’ll share our joys and concerns from the week. We’ll share a bible story. We’ll learn about a faith practice intended to help us grow in faith. We’ll talk about what will be happening in worship that morning. And we will work together on a hands-on activity to help connect the day’s story to our everyday lives. We’ll end our time together by giving thanks.

It is our hope and prayer that Household Huddle will help us make the connection between what we learn on Sunday mornings and how we live throughout the week. By working together with people of all ages and stages, we all become teachers and learners at the same time, as we open our hearts and minds to God’s Spirit at work in our midst.

If you have questions or concerns about Household Huddle, please contact Rev. Rachel Mastin at rachel@fpcnh.org.

Bibles for Rising 10s

Each year, our congregation gifts children who will turn 10 in the upcoming year (September-August) with their own inscribed Bible. This typically takes place during a worship service in September or October. If you will be 10 this year, please let us know so we can prepare one for you!
