The Wednesday Bible Study is on hiatus till May when they will begin a different kind of series. The group will listen to tapes by Clarence Jordan on the Parables of Jesus and then discuss them and their relevance to our lives and our stories.
Clarence Jordan (1912-69) was an American farmer, New Testament scholar, founder of Koinonia Farm, author of the Cotton Patch paraphrase of the New Testament, and a contributor the founding of Habitat for Humanity. A worthy Christian who instructs and inspires from an academic, pastoral, and African American perspective and voice.

The Wednesday Bible Study meets mostly on Zoom with occasional get-togethers for coffee and conversation. No travel involved, but much growth and sense of community might be a reward! There is so much to learn from the Word!
