A group of church members who attended a Peace Convocation at Stony Point Conference Center the spring of 2011 invite you to join Peace and Justice Friends.
We will look at ways for building communities of peace in the midst of the chaos and consider the way of Jesus in difficult situations.
Our materials will come from the PCUSA, the Presbyterian Peace Fellowship, Presbyterians for Just Immigration, and other Presbyterian study materials.
Peace and Justice Friends will work to expand our imagination of what is possible for peace and justice activities at First Pres.
The group will continue to meet and support one another’s work on a variety of issues of interest to group members.
Please see Art or Mary Hunt, Teddy or Alan Hogle, Wanda or Ned Castner, Ralph Jones, or Bonnie Sherman during coffee hour if you would like to join Peace and Justice Friends or be on the email list.
