Worldwide Mission Conversation – September 9, 7:00 PM

Hunter Farrell, Director of PCUSA Worldwide Mission, was the scheduled speaker on Friday, September 9th but has been called away to attend a summit meeting on the relationship of the PCUSA and the Presbyterian Church of Mexico (INPM).  It appears that after 139 years of partnership in mission, the INPM has voted to sever the relationship with the PCUSA in response to our denomination’s change in its ordination standards. In his place, Chris Roseland, Associate in Mission, will lead the conversation about worldwide mission.  He hopes to invite mission co-worker, Marta Bennett who is on furlough from Kenya.… Continue
