For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ ? Matthew 25:35-36
Mass incarceration: the words sound ominous but what do they mean? What does mass incarceration have to do with police tactics in Ferguson, New York City and other areas around the country? What are we as Christians called to do?

Columbus House volunteers needed:
The Columbus House sign-up sheet for the second half of 2016 is now on the Welcome Table awaiting your participation. Volunteer to help provide our monthly dinner at the homeless shelter!
It only takes a couple hours on the first Saturday of each month to provide a warm welcome and meal for the people staying at the shelter. A main meal plus salad and dessert is sufficient. Invite your friends (church or otherwise) to join you.

Any questions, contact Pat Wales. Many thanks for supporting this important mission cause.
