All women of the congregation are invited to the well for a simple meal and a time for prayer and reflection on what it means to live as women of the Resurrection.
Listening again to the Easter good news, and the role women played in spreading that good news, we will take time to share our own understandings of where we see resurrection hope. We will gather on Wednesday, April 18, at 5:30 p.m.
Please sign up at the Welcome Table, and indicate if you are able to make a pot of soup or bring a loaf of bread or dessert.

Eve’s Daughters is the Interfaith Women’s Bible Study led by Co-Pastor Maria LaSala and Kinneret Chiel, from Congregation Mishkan Israel.
This month the study will focus on women who have known abuse, in such texts of terror as the story of Jephthah’s Daughter in Judges 11, the rape of Tamar in 2 Samuel 13, and Dinah in Genesis 34. Naming violence in both the biblical text and in the current day is important as we work to create a safer world for women and girls.
The program will begin at 6:30 p.m., with supper at First Presbyterian Church.
Please sign up at the Welcome Table and indicate if you are able to bring a dessert to share.

Eve’s Daughters returns this January! Women from Congregation Mishkan Israel and First Presbyterian Church will gather for supper and a conversation on the “Woman of Valor” found in Proverbs 31. This year Co-Pastor Maria LaSala will be joined by Kinneret Chiel, the former principal of the Congregation Mishkan Israel preschool.
Rabbi Alison Adler has taken a congregation of her own in Beverly, Massachusetts and will no longer be co-leading the program. Kinneret has years of teaching experience and will delight you with her tales and interpretations of sacred texts.
The program will take place at First Presbyterian Church on Monday, January 30th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. A vegetarian main dish will be provided. If you would like to prepare a salad or dessert, please indicate your preference on the sign up sheet at the Welcome Table.
