A short word on courtesy
Because of the small size of our program, and given that many tutors travel a great distance, we enforce a three-strike policy for unexcused absences. Twenty-four hour notice gives us enough time to notify tutors, and to arrange a make-up time.

I can be reached in any of the following ways:
By email: firstpresbyterianchurch@gmail.com (subject line att’n: Bryce)
In person: I work at the church Tuesday-Thursday, 9:00-5:00, and on Sundays 9:00-1:00.
How do you know if this program is helping your child?
We will check in with you, the parents and care-providers of H@F students, after eight-weeks of tutoring in order to gauge how helpful the program is proving to be for your child. If he/she has gotten the help he/she needs and the child is ready to move on to a different after school activity, great! If not, we will continue tutoring as needed, checking in every eight weeks.
I invite you to work actively with me to ensure that your child is getting the kind of help for which he/she registered in this program. We are willing to work with WHS teachers, and with you to ensure educational needs are being met, so please do not hesitate to let me know if you feel that changes or improvements need to be made. Also, please be sure to complete the end-of-semester survey when your child’s work with Homework@First has come to an end; your input and suggestions will greatly help us to improve our program.
