Service Project with local Family Services Agency

Mission and Christian Education Committees recently collaborated to provide Father’s Day card kits for more than 40 children of offenders in the New Haven area. This project was conducted with Families in Crisis (, a Connecticut nonprofit family services agency that helps offenders and their loved ones confront and overcome challenges. The agency offers specialized counseling, education, case management, and related services.

Friday, April 10, 6-9 p.m. SENIOR YOUTH ART NIGHT The Senior Youth Group (grades 9-12) will meet for dinner and paint masterpieces to take home. We’ll provide brushes, paints, and canvases. You provide the creativity!

Sunday, April 12, 1-3 p.m. JUNIOR YOUTH BLANKET MISSION AT FPC Following Friendship Hour, the Junior Youth Group (grades 5-8) will hold its rescheduled event to make blankets to donate to those in need. Meet in the Miller Gathering Hall. No experience necessary!
