What are “human rights” and does it make sense to call human rights “Christian”? Why are some in our country fiercely opposing human rights protections for the vulnerable in the name of Christianity? For those moved by Christian faith to support the human rights of all, what historical and theological support is available? What additional resources are most needed?
These are some of the questions we’ll explore in the upcoming four week series “Christianity & Human Rights,” beginning Sunday, March 19th.
