Bread for the World Offering of Letters

We conducted our Bread for the World Offering of Letters on Sunday, August 16 after worship, asking our legislators to support federal programs which help feed hungry children and families. The existing legislation expires September 30, so it is time for Congress to get to work.

We had a great turn out for the Offering of Letters. Thank you to all who have written!

It’s not too late!

If you have yet to write, you can find materials, pens and paper on the Welcome Table.

While Congress still has much to do, work has been started. “Our” Rep. Rosa DeLauro is the sponsor of the WIC Act, one of the important pieces up for renewal. Be sure to thank her for her dedication to this issue!

It’s not too late. Just please let Nancy Rupp know you have written.
