All children, youth, and adults are welcome to gather in the Miller Hall for an hour of learning.

10:45 a.m. Communion Service with Co-Pastor Bill Goettler Preaching

Co-Pastor Bill Goettler will preach as we gather together to proclaim God's word.

12:00 p.m. Friendship Hour and Team Building

Head over to the Miller Gathering Hall after worship for good food and conversation. During the Friendship Hour, the CLOC (Community Life and Outreach Committee) will host a brainstorming/planning meeting. The committee members invite your ideas for future activities and ministry programs, and will invite volunteers to organize the monthly potlucks. Tasty treats will be available. Your ideas are most welcome.

This Sunday, there will be Christian Education classes for all ages. Join us at 9:30 a.m. The adult class will be led by Yale Divinity School Intern Jackie Spycher, who will discuss the Presbyterian Church's involvement at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. She will be sharing about her experience at the event as well as facilitating a discussion about our call to work towards gender justice.

7:00 p.m. Senator Martin Looney Talk

Senator Martin Looney returns to First Presbyterian Church of New Haven on Sunday to talk with us about the important issues before the Connecticut Legislature. We expect to hear specifically about the bills under consideration that concern the large number of Black and Hispanic people incarcerated in our juvenile detention centers, jails, and prisons or otherwise involved in the criminal justice system.

Adult Education April 2015

During April, there is no Adult Education on Easter Sunday, April 5 (the Easter breakfast will take place at 9:30 instead), and no Adult Education on Sunday, April 12 and Sunday, April 19.
